Sierra Moon Vineyards has five Rhone varietals; two reds; Petite Sirah and Syrah, and three whites; Viognier, Rousanne, and Marsanne. In addition, we have planted Zinfandel, which the Sierra foothills are well known for producing award-winning Zins. All our wines are made from our estate grown grapes, and crafted by our winemaker, Marco Capelli. Our limited production enables us to provide the attention necessary to make only the very best premium quality wine.
In addition to our sales online, Sierra Moon Vineyards also exports to Japan. In Tokyo, Sierra Moon Vineyards wine is being served in the only Michelin 3 Star restaurant in Tokyo, as well as many other top restaurants and hotels in Tokyo.

The 2005 Syrah was the first release of Sierra Moon Vineyards wine. After aging for 21 months in French oak and American oak, a Syrah Noir was blended with a Syrah 877, to make a velvety Syrah, with good acid structure and firm ripe tannins. The nose is rich and complex, with a toasty oak, black cherry, and blueberry notes, with a long finish. Our limited production for this first release totaled 231 cases. Only 90 cases now available.
